Terry Crews, in response to the controversy, has created his own–still offensive–acronym for coon in return, causing a new backlash from Black Twitter and proponents of Black Lives Matter.

The tweet shown, below, has coon listed as “C.O.O.N.” or “Conquer Our Own Negativity.”

Black Twitter’s greatest comedians came for him almost immediately:

We have to say we are really disappointed with Terry. “Coon” is highly offensive word used as a racial slur against Black people. One of his fans, that he retweeted, said it best:

Terry Crews please do better or just be quiet. We would suggest he hire an excellent BLACK publicist. We can recommend a few (glances at nails).

Today, the internet speculated that Michele lost her Savage x Fenty endorsement in result of an internet blow up last week when the model made comments about Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. ” I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot,” Michele jokingly said during an interview. This comment did not sit well with the internet as many jumped to Megan’s defense as well as the rapper tweeting her own personal response to Michele. “…Who tf jokes about getting shot…”

After Michele began to catch heat, she quickly apologized through social media, however this week, the consequences aren’t over. Earlier today, rumors began to fly on Twitter that the model has been dropped by Rihanna’s lingerie label Fenty x Savage. The sultry line has a stacked ambassador list including Megan Thee Stallion, which would ultimately serve as a conflict of interest.

Naturally, Black Twitter pointed to her comments’ being the reason she was let go and followed suit via social media with their sleuthing.

Also, and naturally again, the internet has its own comedic responses to these allegations.

We feel Fenty made the right decision to part ways with Draya–if this happened–and her comments on Megan were the reason. Rihanna is the owner of this company and brand, and a domestic violence survivor herself. Nothing Draya Michele said was funny, especially when women are dying every day in domestic violence disputes–three daily on average!

We are sure Draya will get picked up by another brand soon, but this should teach her that some things do not deserve commentary and can be costly to her.

Parks — the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star who’s now on “Marriage Bootcamp” — is also a licensed funeral director and mortician, plus a top Atlanta lawyer, author and activist. She exclusively revealed on Wednesday to Page Six podcast “We Hear” of her mortuary biz: “Oh my gosh, it’s going great, didn’t you hear about that pandemic, girl? We are booming. Unfortunately. We have been jam-packed since the pandemic started.”

She said that she’s seen the devastation of the virus first-hand: “I’m not physician, however, I do have a mortuary and I’ll tell you this: Normally in the summer months, we’re waiting for a boating accident or a motorcycle crash, because otherwise, we’re pretty empty,” she said. “We are jam-packed. We are working like it’s our heaviest season, so… I tell people when they say, ‘It’s a joke, it’s not that big of a deal,’ well, let me put it to you in real terms, I’m getting 17 calls a day for pickups and that’s at one location. Last week, all of the people were under 59.”

This is quite the twist! We are glad to see Phaedra is thriving, but we hate to say it is thanks to victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. Still someone has to do something with these bodies and her Black owned business deserves to make all the money it can. After all Black Lives Matter even when they are dead?

What do you guys think? Would you ever use Phaedra Parks’ mortuary services for your own loved ones? Sound off in the comments’ section below!
