Recently, Future announced that he will be opening a pop-up shop in New York. The shop will not be open long; doors are scheduled to open on Aug. 2nd and close on Aug. 8th. The exclusive shop will be located at 76 Wooster Street in NYC.
Future has teamed up with Fancy.com to assist him in this venture. The pop-up shop will be called “Future Hive” and will include clothing from the rapper’s Freebandz collection and street wear brand Cease & Desist. Future has also teamed up with John Varvatos and the leather accessories company, Moreca, to come up with some collaborations that will also be available for purchase in the shop.
Fancy Founder and CEO, Joe Einhorn stated,
“It’s a thrill to work with Future and his creative director, Fred Foster on their retail concepts and to see a little bit of his creative process first hand while collaborating with our terrific partners.“Most of all we are excited for the fans who will be able to get their hands on these awesome limited edition goods.”
The John Varvatos collaboration with Future will offer an exclusive leather jacket designed by Future. Future’s collection with Moreca will feature an exclusive embroidered Atelier Luxury Weekend Bag. Future’s Cease & Desist’s Fire & Desire collection will also be available.
This is not Future’s first rodeo with pop-up shops. Ciara’s baby daddy opened up a Freebandz pop-up shop on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles back in March of this year. That pop-up shop sold limited edition clothing and accessories from Future’s Freebandz line and also included other brands such as RSVP and DOPE.
Future’s tour dates coincide with the dates of the pop-up show so there may be some appearances made by the artist.
So what are your thoughts? Would you rock Future’s clothing? Let me know in the comments.
