Talitha Bateman is a 14-year-old actress born in the small town of Turlock, California. Although she has a total of nine other siblings, it was her older sister Leah who inspired her acting aspirations. Talitha and her family currently live in Los Angeles, where she has been hard at work pursuing her career as an actress, but also doing regular ‘teen’ things like chores and schoolwork.
Some of Talitha’s work includes her role as the lead in SONY’s theatrically worldwide released feature “The Fifth Wave,” where she was seen starring opposite Chloe Grace Moretz; as well as another leading role in EuropaCorp’s newest comedy feature “Nine Lives”, where Talitha acts alongside Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Garner.
Although Talitha has been a part of many great projects and opportunities, she has not let any of to get to her head.
When asked how she feels about being a star at such a young age, Talitha responded, “Well I don’t really feel like I am a star at all. I have been blessed with all of the projects I have done and I am very grateful. The best part of what I get the opportunity to do as an actress is raising awareness and funds for good causes like cystic fibrosis and the water crisis in poor nations.“

Google’s Fashion Trend Report has just released its 2016 recap. Accumulating the wealth of fashion-related inquiries entered into its search engine, Google shows that the bomber jacket is the biggest trend of this year. Another win for street wear style! Searches for “bomber jacket” have grown by over 500% since 2015, according to the popular search engine, spiking last summer and sustaining since then. While the UK appears to consider David Beckham as the poster boy for bomber jackets, U.S. searchers turn to none other than Kanye West as the herald of this trend. When it comes to color schemes, black, olive and green are the most popular colors by far. However pink bomber jackets appear to be surging in popularity. Kanye predicted it, I mean take a look back at his Yeezy seasons 1-3 he was definitely trying to tell us something and according to Google we listened lol.
Results also point to the fact that athleisure (comfortable sportswear) is a major trend as well. Google notes a growing inclination towards utilitarian clothing, as searches for “windbreaker jacket” and “waterproof jacket” grew by over 100% and over 300% respectively. Whereas the “flannel shirt” and “denim shirt” are on the decline, queries for “sweatshirt” grew by over 500% over the last year; searches for polo shirts and white T-shirts have increased parallel. Meanwhile, searches for “ripped jeans” and “ripped black jeans” have seen an unsurprising rise. People are searching less for “drop-crotch pants” and “acid-wash jeans,” yet “white jeans,” “cargo pants,” and “linen pants” are all on the up and up. All of this to say that street wear or street style, however you want to put it, has definitely made its mark in 2016 thanks to the help of many designers and the many fashion weeks that debuted the more athleisure, edgy yet throwback type of style. Also non other than Yeezus himself making it a point in his fashion showcases to bring the ever so popular style to the forefront with his extravagant and highly publicized shows during fashion week. Get into the movement guys, that’s all I going to say. Got to blast! – EffYeahMark
