[VIDEO] Check Out The Trailers for Morris Chestnut (@Morris_Chestnut) & Regina Hall’s (@MoreReginaHall) New Movie, “When The Bough Breaks!” (@whenboughbreaks)

There are a lot of great movies set to be released this fall. One that you definitely don’t want to miss is the must see thriller starring Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall. The movie is called “When The Bough Breaks”, and by the looks of the trailer, it’s guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.

The movie is about a young African American power couple (Morris & Regina) who are trying desperately to start a family. The couple exhausts all their options and finally come to the conclusion to look for a surrogate. The couple finds what they believe to be the perfect woman to carry their unborn child, but looks can often be deceiving. As the pregnancy gets further along, so does the surrogate’s infatuation with the husband. The couple gets caught up in the surrogate’s tangled web of lies and has to fight to get back control of their lives.

breaks 3The movie also stars newcomer Jaz Sinclair who plays the surrogate chosen by the couple. You might remember Jaz from portraying Angela in “Paper Towns”. Other cast members of the film include Romany Malco, Michael K. Williams, and Theo Rossi.


This modern day thriller was directed by Jon Cassar and written by Jack Olsen. Morris Chestnut served as one of the executive producers of the film along with Dylan Sellers and Glen S. Gainor. The film is set to be distributed by Screen Gems.

The movie is set to be released on September 9th, and there have been two official trailers released for the film. The second official trailer has a rendition of the 90s song “The Boy Is Mine” sung by Brandy and Monica. Take a look at both of the trailers below and see which one you like the most.
