It has been a minute since Usher Raymond has released an album. So of course, news of Usher’s upcoming 8th album, “Flawed”, has fans very excited to hear some new tunes. Back in June of this year, Usher released a single from the highly anticipated album called “No Limit”. The song features Young Thug and pays homage to No Limit Records founder, Master P. Throughout the song Usher uses “No limit” lingo from back in the day to describe the things he would do to his significant other. Young Thug also includes the “No Limit” lingo during his verse.
The video for the song was released about two weeks ago and features appearances from Bossie Badazz, Gucci Mane, and Ty Dolla $ign. The song “No Limit” was the second single released from the album; the first single released was entitled, “Crash”. You can check out the visuals for the original version of “No Limit” below.
Now, Usher has done it again. The R &B crooner just released the “No Limit” remix which he has renamed as the “G-Mix”. The “G-Mix” features Master P himself along with Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, and A$AP Ferg. Master P’s verse starts out with the iconic, “ Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” The rest of his verse also makes reference to his No Limit Record days with lyrics such as “I’ve been bout it bout it, since ‘Bout it Bout it’” and “No Limit boys get rowdy-rowdy.”
Travis Scott and A$AP Ferg made references to Silk The Shocker while Usher rounded things out with references to C-Murder. Take a listen to the track below and see who you think had the best verse.
Usher’s “Flawless” album was expected to drop last year and there is still no official release date for the forthcoming album. Rumor has it that it will drop sometime this fall. So, what are your thoughts? Are you feeling this new “G-Mix”? Will you be getting a copy of Usher’s album when it comes out? Let me know in the comments.
