Anthiny King (@AnthinyKing)- “365”

Thanks to the wonderful advancements of technology, you can literally be whatever you want. If you want to be a model, you no longer have to move to New York in hopes of being discovered. Start posting your portfolio pictures on Instagram or other social media. If you want to be a comedian, start a Youtube channel and you are on your way. Technology has changed the game for today’s aspiring music artists and musicians as well. In order to succeed in the music industry, you have to know how to reach the masses.

New York native Anthiny King is an up and coming artist to watch. King began pursuing a career in hip-hop around the age of 14, and since then has learned to perfect his craft. No one can pinpoint King’s sound or put him in a particular category. King’s strong love for rap, R&B, and soul is conveyed in his music. King also has the ability to mix different genres such as hip hop and neo soul effortlessly. This rapper singer/songwriter debuted his first mixtape, “King Of Hearts”, back in 2011.


Followed by his sophomore mixtape, “King Of Hearts II: Moments At Last”, in November of 2012. Anthiny King’s third mixtape, “Black Cassette”, features his popular single “365”.  The song showcases King’s smooth vocals and lyrical style.  You can check out the official video below.

King’s song “Be Happy Girl” is also popular amongst the young artist’s fans. The song talks about moving on after a breakup and how your ex should just be happy for you. Check out the audio of the song below and let me know what you think.
