In case I’ve never told you guys before, I love me some Joanna Levesque. I bought her very first CD ” JOJO” and to this day, “Use My Shoulder”, “Breezy”, “Keep on Keeping On”, and “Fairy Tales” are on my music playlist.
Just yesterday, JoJo stepped up to the plate and released a song for all the haters and fake ones title “F.A.B.” which stands for ‘fake a** b**ches’. The vocalist enlisted the help of rapper Remy Ma who spit a fire verse letting everyone know she’s not to be played with.
With “F.A.B.” being such a direct record, one can almost immediately tell that JoJo is calling out any and everyone who did not stand with her when she needed them most. (Which I know we all can relate to.)
Her upcoming album “Mad Love” will be her first studio album since 2006. And as long awaited as this album is, I think it will be one of her most truthful projects to date. The title track ‘Mad Love’ is an intense ballad about the difficulty of letting go. You give me bad love/But I’ll take what I get, I’m starvin’ for it/Like I’ve never had love, she sings on the track which alludes to how raw the project is.
The single follows the Wiz Khalifa collaboration, “F**k Apologies” in which Wiz spits a very quotable verse.
Okay, no apologizing
Ain’t no way to take the things you did back or disguise it
Always wonder what I’m doing but that’s TMI
Don’t know what you got until it’s gone, now you realize it.
JoJo album “Mad Love” is set to be released on October 14th.
