Hailing all the way from Amsterdam, Tabitha teamed up with Studio 43, the boutique label of music industry mogul, Kenny Burns, to launch her debut single “Holla At Me” by way of her debut album, No Fiction, which is set to be released Spring 2017.
“Holla At Me,” takes listeners on the songstress’s journey as an artist. From her roots in Amsterdam and experiencing the music industry at a young age, to her travels to London and Los Angeles to work on her album, No Fiction. “Holla At Me” pays tribute to both her past and her future.
Within seconds people can immediately tell that Tabitha has some serious pipes on her and her soulful voice gives off Amy Winehouse vibes mixed in with a little Queen Bey and Rihanna. Either way, her silk runs and sultry sounds will make anyone a fan and her hunger to succeed will make her a force to be reckon with.
“I’m determined to make my mark by being honest and real with music lovers and the music industry alike,” says Tabitha.
“It all started as a form of medication for what I was going through… I wasn’t the easiest to handle in my teenage years. I was actually quite the rebel. I never felt like I fit in anywhere, especially not in school.”
After Tabitha was kicked out of a conventional school, she found herself auditioning for a musical education program at the Pop Academy. After being accepted, she became the first student ever to finish the 4-year program in 2 years.
Tabitha has experienced her share of independent labels and management companies over her eight-year journey suggesting who she should be, but has now decided to express herself with no limits.
Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer Timothy Bloom came across Tabitha on Facebook and was so impressed that he invited Tabitha to work on music with him and join him onstage for a duet in London. The rest was history and for three months, they worked together to complete her debut album, No Fiction.
