Event Recap: The House of Rémy Martin (@remymartinUS) Celebrates the Launch of ‘La Maison Rémy Martin’

The who’s who of Entertainment all convened in New York City over the weekend for an event like no other. The House of Rémy Martin rounded up some of your favorite celebrities and socialites to help celebrate the launch of ‘La Maison Rémy Martin’, an interactive censorial pop-up which also gave an exclusive preview followed by an intimate dinner hosted by Global CEO of Rémy Martin Eric Vallat and CEO and President of Rémy Martin Cointreau USA, Philippe Farnier. (How I wish I could’ve been a fly on the wall!)

Lucas Goodman, Jillian Hervey, Lionbabe, Rotimi

The experience was a real life journey through the Cognac region through an exploration of terroir, a hands-on cognac blending tutorial, and insight on the cognac aging process. The tour was followed by a gustatory sensation through the “Opulence Reveal”- a feast-like tasting table with a decadent assortment of textures and flavors reflective of the complex notes of Rémy Martin XO. (I’m soooo jealous right now!)

Tyson Beckford

Some of the celebrities in attendance were singer and actor Rotimi of the Starz hit series “Power”, Circle of Centaurs Ambassador and actress Jackie Cruz of hit Netflix series “Orange is the New Black”, world famous male supermodel Tyson Beckford, Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman of musical duo Lion Babe, and artist Shantell Martin to name a few. Guests were taken on an immersive journey through Cognac that engaged sight, sound, smell and imagination through an interactive tour followed by a seated dinner curated by Chef Marc Forgione.

French Kinetic Artist Vincent Leroy was commissioned by The House of Rémy Martin to create a one-of-a-kind art piece that embodied the movement, fluidity and beauty of Cognac.  The artist unveiled and introduced Red Ripples, a unique kinetic art piece inspired by the cognac making process. Inspired by the different colors of cognac as drops ripple in a glass, Red Ripples reveals movement as its material, illustrated by a series of mirrored concentric circles connected by lightweight mechanisms which captivate in seamless motion.

With an event of this grand stature, I don’t think anything else comes close to topping this!
