“Wonder Woman, she is a woman of many strengths and powers, but at the end of the day she’s a woman with a lot of emotional intelligence.” (Galdot)
Wonder Woman is back! Are You Ready for this movie?
Back in March we had the chance to catch a snippet of Wonder Woman in the movie, “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice“. The movie delivered us a brief introduction of who Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) was. For all of those major fans of these super heroes; you can get ready for a movie that is definitely going to be hot in the box office!
Many of us predicted that there was possibly going to be an upcoming sequel to the, “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice”, simply because of how the movie ended with a discussion of war to come and Batman played by Ben Affleck suggesting to Wonder Woman to gather up her people.
Nobody expected a movie dedicated to one of the most powerful women in DC Comics!
So who is Wonder Woman?
She is Diana, princess of the Amazons, raised on a sheltered island and trained to be an unconquerable fighter. After an American pilot, Steve Trevor, crashes on the island and tells her about a world war that is happening, Diana leaves her home to try to stop the war. Becoming the hero Wonder Woman, she fights to save lives but a new and venomous foe known only as Doctor Poison makes Diana question whether or not mankind should be saved.
Gadot described her character as having “many strengths and powers, but at the end of the day she’s a woman with a lot of emotional intelligence”. When speaking on as to how her character will be different from her appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gadot said “We go back 100 years to when she’s more naive”, further explaining, “She’s this young idealist. She’s pure. Very different to the experienced, super-confident, grown-up woman you’ve seen”.
This movie is full of action and delivers that excitement that we tend to always get every time from Warner Bros. Pictures.
It is intended to be the fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins, written by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, from a story by Heinberg and Zack Snyder, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Saïd Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner, Lisa Loven Kongsli and David Thewlis.
