[Event Recap] IVY Celebrates Artist Bradley Theodore (@araki4lyfe) In Miami During 2016 Art Basel

IVY is a social community that influences and brings together young leaders from around the world to collaborate and inspire each other. IVY believes in lifelong learning and they strive to make a positive impact on the world. This year IVY showcases visual artist Bradley Theodore.

2016 Art Basel Celebration in MiamiBradley Theodore was celebrated this week during the 2016 Art Basel celebration in Miami, Florida. IVY celebrated Theodore along with his first prints which were limited editions. The celebration was held at the Nobu Eden Roc.

Theodore is known for his notable style. His work often features skeletal paintings that are full of color and often feature icons in pop culture such as Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld. Due to his style, Theodore has often been described as “the Jean-Michel Basquiat” meets Banksy”. Bradley Theodore has managed to gain fans from all over the world through his work.

The celebration for Bradley Theodore was star-studded, to say the least. In attendance were over four hundred of the hottest young art collectors, enthusiasts, industry VIPs, celebs, and models. Some of the people who made it on the exclusive guest list included model Joy Corrigan, “Taste The Style’s” Cyndi Ramirez, visual artist and model Beau Dunn, stylist Lauren Rae Levy, and Vesta Lugg. Also in attendance were IVY’s cofounders, Beri Meric and Phillipp Triebel. Guest were given the opportunity to chat with the artist and to purchase his exclusive prints. The party was a private event and was sponsored by Moet & Chandon, EFFEN Vodka, and Aspire Eyewear.

IVY hosted an Artist Talk with Zhou Yinghua who is also known as Michael Chow of Mr. Chow. The event included an in-depth discussion which was moderated by Bonnie Clearwater. Bonnie is the Director and Chief Curator of the NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale.
