Each film was truly inspiring in its own way.
Upon watching the film ‘Hidden Figures’ you were inspired to not take “No” for an answer. The movie encouraged you to fight for what you deserved, and to not be afraid to make your talent known. Anyone who is an entrepreneur or is striving to make a dream come true should watch this film. In life you are going to run into a lot of no’s before you get that yes. In life you will run into a lot of people telling you that you don’t have what it takes or that you can’t do it. This film was a perfect display of how you can do whatever you put your mind to even if it means often going above those who tell you no, just to accomplish your dreams.
Fences’ gave you the story of a man (Denzel Washington) who had many flaws, and made a lot of mistakes. Those mistakes he made affected his family in more ways than one. It displayed a wife and a mother fighting to hold her family together despite it all, but eventually realizing in the end that she didn’t deserve the pain. She had put her dreams on hold to help someone else achieve their dreams. This movie is motivation to anyone clocking in everyday on another person’s dream, yet failing to achieve your own dreams.
