Valerian Movie (@ValerianMovie) Premiere Brings out the Stars!

Last night the ‘Valerian’ premiere took place in Los Angeles.

Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets could possibly be the summer’s most anticipated movie. With such stars as Rihanna, Cara Delevigne, Clive Owen, and Ethan Hawke, who wouldn’t line up in droves? After months of promotion for the sci-fi action flick, it all came to a head as stars arrived to the premiere. Many of the stars used the movie as inspiration for their futuristic and out of this world costumes.

Rihanna at the Valerian premiere

Style icon Rihanna was mesmerizing in this pale pink Giambattista Valli haute couture gown. Giambattista Valli is a favorite of Rihanna as she also famously donned the designer at the 2015 Grammy’s, where she broke the internet with that voluminous bright pink gown.  The ‘Work’ singer, stars as Bubbles, who is a shape shifting singer in the fictional city of Alpha in the 28th century.

Cara Delevigne at the Valerian premiere

Supermodel turned actress Cara Delevigne was wonderfully futuristic in this body hugging see through dress. The Iris van Herpen creation was made up of hundreds of tiny cut outs which left little to the imagination. Delevigne plays Sargent Laureline, who is the partner and love interest of Valerian proving to everyone that she is more than just a pretty face.

Fellow model Kendall Jenner showed support for her friend Cara Delevigne by attending the premiere looking just as amazing. She chose to bare her long legs in this Djula dress and Le Vian jewels.  Her hair, which had an old Hollywood glam vibe, was the perfect topper to this look.

For the rest of the general public, we’re going to have to wait til July 20 to experience the phenomenon that is Valerian and the City of A Thousand Planets.  It isn’t, however, the best idea to show up to your local movie theater in a silver see through dress.
