It has been awhile since we delivered a Celebrity Crush, but we are back and at it! It is Monday and that means it is “Man Crush Monday” time! Our newest addition, is a reality star we recently came across courtesy of the folk over at Bravo! Thanks to him–and a certain Web Star friend–we are currently binge watching Southern Charm: New Orleans as well! Meet Jon Moody–artist , athlete, and our latest Celebrity Crush!

Jon Moody is one of those Uber-talented people you hate that you don’t know personally. Southern Charm may have introduced him to the world, but his work speaks for itself. As an artist he has had pieces on Star, Empire, and even in The White House. His style is modern, colorful, and shows a real sense of flow and power that gives you tingles. On the show he is portrayed as the younger, trendier guy and ladies’ man who moves to the beat of his own drum. He is kind of that classy guy that even wears turtle necks in the summer.

True enough we love Jon on Southern Charm, but let us keep it “100.” The man has the build of a superhero, putting a few Avengers to shame! He has that type of athletic physique only achieved with a dabble of youth and lots of weight lifting. Isn’t it funny that an artist himself is a walking body of art? Jon you inspire us and are much to aspire to. Keep on charming us on the show and we will keep our eyes glued to your every move. Yes, on this awesome specimen of a man we are crushing–HARD!

It has been awhile since we did a male Celebrity Crush, and yes, we got your requests (LOL)! We decided to go the rapper route this time around and we are pleased with our decision to highlight the ultra sexy, Dave East! Dave is hard with his rhymes and tattoos and even easier on the eyes. As a true wordsmith he is quickly rising up the ranks of the rap world to become one of its elites!

Dave East first came on our radar on CBS’s now cancelled series, Elementary, in 2012, and then reacquainted ourselves with him on The Breaks in 2017. Dave has proven himself to be a talented actor time and again, so much so we were not aware of his rap skills until later. His mix tapes, Paranoia 2 and Karma 2 stay on repeat in our Apple Music.

Now, back to how sexy he is. The magnificent specimen of a man is inked from head to toe and we love every needle stroke that made him that way. Then there’s that very sexy body of his. He gives us the same feels as The Game, minus the inclination he might beat us. Dave just has the type of swag most guys hope for, but seldom acquire. Also, did we mention he is 6’5″? Yes tall, inked, handsome and DIVINE!

Clearly Mr. East has a lot going for himself and we are just enjoying watching him rise. Dave is just amazing on so many levels. The way he cares for his daughter, Kairi, is exemplary and beautiful! Lord knows we need more positive images of Black Fathers (pumps black fist in the air). Dave, we love you man, drop us a line!

The landscape of reality television is covered with beautiful women; some so gorgeous you will literally find yourself going gaga! Enter Second Wives Club, here we find Veronika Obeng, a beauty so captivating and well put together she might as well take your whole paycheck because you will want to spend it all on her.  She is a noted reality star who has had her ups and downs in the public eye. However, she is as resilient as ever with a deep inner strength not even she has tapped into. Super mom, model, and super sweet, Veronika Obeng is this week’s Celebrity Crush!

We have to admit Veronika came on our radar rather late and courtesy of our spiritual mother and counselor, Iyanla Vanzant, on her hit show OWN’s Iyanla Fix My Life. There, she sought help to move past her recent divorce and the stuck feeling that consumed her thereafter. We watched as she bravely not only worked through her own insecurities and demons, but learned the familial pathology that brought her to that place. She alongside, former The Real Housewives of Potomac star, Charisse Jackson-Jordan, “did their homework” and seemed to be better for it.

Besides being open and brave to work through her issues, Veronika is just one extremely beautiful woman. The only things that matches her radiance is her poise. She could very well be a real life “Raquel Lancaster” (see VH-1’s Single Ladies). The thing that captivates us the most about her are her eyes. They are so alluring and outright tell you “Yes, you want me.”

Veronika may have her claim to fame from Second Wives Club, but is her life and the legacy she has through her four little ones that will immortalize her. We love you V, if you are ever in Atlanta drop us a line!
