[VIDEO] In Case You Missed It! Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Leaks at San Diego Comic-Con!

It is no secret that we at HeyMikeyATL LOVE our superheroes! San Diego Comic-Con happens to be the best place to debut it–well at least that’s what Disney and Marvel were hoping for.

Apparently, the full trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has been leaked onto the internet much to the two companies’ chagrin. Although they are steadily snatching it off line we managed to find, albeit, bootleg and somewhat gritty on Comicbookmovie.com. Check it out below!

We know it is a bit hard to see, but from what we can tell it is EPIC! Thanos is coming and from the looks of it The Guardians of The Galaxy will have to team up with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to take him down–or at the very least–survive the power he seeks to wield buy acquiring the famed Infinity Stones that have appeared in previous Marvel films. From appearances alone we can tell Iron Man, Gamora, Groot, Nebula, The Scarlet Witch, Falcon, The Winter Soldier,  Drax The Destroyer, Star-Lord, Mantis, War Machine, Doctor Strange, Captain America,  Spider-Man, Vision, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Black Panther and The Dora Milaje are all battling the Mad Titan.

More Whitewashing? Disney (@Disney) Slammed for Casting Non-Arab Actress for Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine!

naomi scott at power rangers movie premiere

In 2017 you would think whitewashing and accusations thereof would be a thing of the past. Well we definitely thought wrong!

Casting news for Disney’s upcoming, live action remake of Aladdin has been marred by accusations of whitewashing after casting Power Rangers actress, Naomi Scott, in the role of Princess Jasmine!

Casting for Disney’s Aladdin; Will Smith, Naomi Scott, and Mena Massoud

To find the cast for its upcoming live-action reboot of the 1992 animated classic Aladdin, Disney and director Guy Ritchie reportedly undertook a months-long, worldwide search with an estimated 2,000 actors reading for the lead roles of Jasmine and Aladdin.

And after all that buildup, fans are still finding fault in the studio’s picks. Disney is catching some blowback for casting a non-Arab actress to play Jasmine.

Naomi Scott, who starred in this year’s Power Rangers film, landed the role alongside Mena Massoud as Aladdin, and Will Smith as Genie. Scott is of British and Indian heritage and some critics of the decision see it as a suggestion by Disney that women of Indian and Middle Eastern heritage look the same. Massoud is of Egyptian descent.

We Are Here For It! Priyanka Chopra (@priyankachopra) Rumored To Be In Talks w/ Disney (@Disney) for Princess Jasmine Role!

priyanka chopra

Disney has scored some major hits over the last few years with its live action take and twists on its classic tales. Maleficent, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, and Beauty & The Beast were all well-received; and the company has announced its plans to create films out of Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Winnie The Pooh, The Lion Kingand Aladdin! Honestly out of all the live action films we are anticipating it is Aladdin we are most excited out. It seems like a no-brainer that this should be the next film in line to become live action, and the rumor mill is turning that casting is already taking place.

We have no confirmed names for any roles, but word on the street is that Quantico’s star, Priyanka Chopra, is in talks with Disney to take on the role of Princess Jasmine in the upcoming live action Aladdin film!

It has been quite awhile since visited the world of Disney and Pixar’s Cars–six years to be exact! It is is no secret that we love ourselves some animated movies here at HeyMikeyATL, and the Cars franchise is definitely close to the top of the list of our favorite animated films of all times.

Well the resident champion of Cars 3, Lightning McQueen, is back and this time around he is in a race against an entity he probably can’t beat…TIME.

Lighting’s latest racing season begins as usual with him reminiscing on his mentor Doc, and preparing with his hometown friends for the biggest races in the world of Cars. As always, racing season is a time of celebration, fun, and reunions with old friends and rivals. However, all familiarity is shaken–and begins to crumble–with a surprising win from rookie, Jackson Storm. Jackson is haute, disrespectful, and most of all the face of a new wave of racers designed to be sleeker, stronger, and of course faster! Lightning and his compatriots soon find themselves left in the dust. After a tragic accident, Mr. McQueen finds himself back at the drawing board, itching for a comeback. However, it will not be easy with “youngsters” like Jackson in play. It will take all of Lightning’s skills, knowledge, and a surprising new, heroine, to set the world Cars back on track!

Honestly, we have to say WE LOVE CARS! This film is yet another in a wave of Summer 2017 films that are showcasing Girl Power! Wonder Woman will have every little girl in the world begging for a sword and shield, but Cars will have them storm the gateways of Nascar and be looking to drive their own Cruz Ramirezes! If this is the last film in the franchise we are happy to see it end on an amazingly sweet and powerful note! Let here it for the girls AND LIGHTNING MCQUEEN!

You can catch Cars 3 in theaters everywhere Friday, June 16th!

The anticipation continues to build as we all await the series premiere of Disney Channel’s newest sitcom, Raven’s Home!

As you already know the new series is a reboot of That’s So Raven, with Raven (Raven-Symone) and Chelsea (Anneliese Van Der Pol) as divorced mothers trying to raise their children together. One of Raven’s twins, her son, Baxter, inherits her psychic abilities and the fun–and mayhem–ensue!

via Variety:

Symoné and Anneliese van der Pol are now mothers as they reprise their role as best friends Raven Baxter and Chelsea Daniels. The dynamic duo is up to their same crazy antics, but this time, they are living under the same roof raising families of their own.

Raven’s 11-year-old twins Booker (Issac Brown) and Nia (Navia Robinson) join the cast along with Chelsea’s 9-year-old son Levi (Jason Maybaum), and Nia’s best friend Tess (Sky Katz).

While Booker is still coming to terms with is psychic tendencies, his mom, a vision veteran, remains unfazed with her son’s ability. As he comes to tell her about a vision he had, she quips back, “It’s not always about you, Booker.”

Still, family is just as important in the Baxter household, and according to Booker, they’ve got heart — and a whole bunch else.

Jonathan McDaniel will be reprising the role of Devon Carter, Raven’s boyfriend in ‘That’s So Raven’ seasons two-four. As the new story goes, Raven and Devon got married and had two kids together…and now they’re divorced.

In the new series, viewers will see Raven and her BFF Chelsea (Anneliese van der Pol) as divorced single mothers, raising their children together in the same chaotic household. And it looks like Raven’s ability to see the future is genetic, as one of her 11-year-old twins Booker (Issac Ryan Brown) has the same ability.

Raven’s other twin, Nia, will be played by Navia Robinson, while Jason Maybaum will take on the role of Chelsea’s son Levi, and Sky Katz will be playing Tess, Booker and Nia’s best friend and neighbor.

E! News was on set for Jonathan McDaniel’s Raven’s Home debut, so tune in tonight at 7 and 11 p.m. for an exclusive interview with Raven and Jonathan, as well as an exclusive first look at the Disney Channel series’ set.

That’s So Raven fans will remember Devon as Raven’s longtime crush-turned-BF, who she remained in a relationship with after he moved to Seattle. He often returned and paid Raven a visit when his father would come to San Francisco for business trips.

“There is only one Raven—and for over 25 years, she has blessed audiences around the world with the greatest gift of all—the pure, unadulterated joy of laugh-out-loud funny. After being a part of over 20 different Disney projects, we are thrilled to be bringing Raven home to Disney Channel once again,” Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer of Disney Channels Worldwide, said in a statement when the sequel series was announced.

We cannot wait for Raven’s Home  to debut. We just wonder what split Raven and Devon up? The series definitely has to explore that. Either way we are just ready to see the old (minus Orlando) and new cast all together!

[PHOTOS] Disney (@Disney) Officially Orders “That’s So Raven” Spinoff, “Raven’s Home!” Meet The Cast !

raven-symone raven's home

We are singing loudly, “That’s So Raven! It’s the future I can see! That’s So Raven it’s so mysterious to me yeah!”

Well it really is not quite so mysterious any longer as we have received news that Disney has officially ordered That’s So Raven’s spinoff series, Raven’s Home!

Disney also revealed the cast. Get the details below!

via Love B. Scott

Anneliese van der Pol will reprise her role as Raven’s best friend Chelsea, and Isaac Brown (black-ish), Navia Robinson (Being Mary Jane), Jason Maybaum (Superstore) and Sky Katz (America’s Got Talent) will also star.

Isaac and Navia will play Raven’s 11-year-old twins Booker and Nia, Jason will play Chelsea’s son Levi and Sky will play Nia’s best friend Tess.

via TVLine:

“Raven’s Home” will follow Chelsea and Raven — both divorced single mothers — raising their children in a house together. But as the official description warns, “when one of Raven’s kids begins to show signs that they have inherited her trait of catching glimpses of the future, the already hectic household gets turned upside down, keeping even Raven on her toes.”

We are super excited about this new spinoff. It is yet another reboot of hit series from the nineties and early 2000s we are more than happy to revisit. We are gazing into the future and seeing this show will bona fide hit! However, the premise of the show does feel a bit Fuller Houseish (LOL). One thing is for sure we definitely did not have to be clairvoyant to know that Orlando Brown would be nowhere in sight of this series. If they use Eddie’s character at all we do not doubt it will be a complete recast. Disney is pretty liberal nowadays, but they are not going to want him, his drugs, or his sex tape anywhere near this series! Happy viewing guys!
