They say money cannot buy happiness, apparently it cannot buy peace either.

Exes, Kris and her “ex-husband,” Caitlyn Jenner are clashing thanks to the latter’s memoir.

In the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kris vents to her daughters, Khloe and Kim Kardashian about the latest nonsense between her and Cait.

“I read it and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time …. Everything she says is all made up. Why does everything have to be that Kris is such a bitch and an a–hole?”

In an excerpt of the forthcoming book released on Wednesday, Caitlyn, 67, claims of the longtime marriage, “I tell Kris about my gender issues before I make love to her. This will always be a subject of dispute between us. She insists that she was taken by surprise by my ultimate transition to Caitlyn, which obviously means in her mind that she did not know enough.”

Kris, who was married to a pre-transition Caitlyn (then known as Bruce) for more than two decades, adamantly denied that claim.

“I was curious and said, ‘What the hell is going on?’ She said, ‘You just would never understand,’” the reality matriarch recalled. “And then, all through the book, ‘Kris knew. Kris knew before I even made love to her.’ I’m like, ‘What?’”

Kris also stewed, “I’ve never been so angry and disappointed in somebody in my whole life.”

In her memoir, “The Secrets of My Life,” Caitlyn is also said to reveal that she went through sex reassignment surgery in January.

We have to say this is all a bit bizarre. Nevertheless, we had no idea Caitlyn had undergone sexual reassignment surgery. Bruce truly is gone now. Again, you can catch this latest Kardashian drama in full this Sunday. Check out a video of Kris complaining below.

The woman is a star through and through. Which is why when it comes to tackling some pretty heavy subject like the Atlanta Child Murders of the seventies and eighties, and we will definitely be tuning in.

The Atlanta child murders occurred in Atlanta, GA from mid-1979 until May 1980. During that period, at least 28 African American children, adolescents and young adults – mainly boys- were killed. Atlanta native Wayne Williams was arrested and convicted of two of the adult murders and sentenced to two consecutive life terms. Police since have attributed a number of the child murders to Williams and closed the cases, although he has not been tried or convicted in any of those cases. No Place Safe tells the story of the hunt for the killer through the eyes of then-13-years-old Reid whose mother was an investigator on the case.

This series is definitely going to be groundbreaking. As a native of Atlanta I grew up hearing stories of the child murders, but I do not recall there ever being a series that delved into them. I have also read a little of No Place Safe and if the series is anything like the book then it will undoubtedly be riveting and captivating. Regina is no stranger to tough material though, as you may already know she has received numerous awards for her roles on ABC’s American Crime, which is now in its third season.

What do you all think about the new series? Will you be tuning in? Sound off below in our comments’ section!

“I Love My Body Now…” Gabourney Sidibe (@GabbySidibe) Opens Up About Weight Loss Surgery

gabourney sidibe weight loss people magazine

Gabourney (Gabby) Sidibe is one of the best actresses in Hollywood. We were first introduced to her on Precious, and now she continues to make waves in various films and as “Becky” on Empire. Still, that has not stopped the discussion of her weight, as many felt she was unhealthy and needed to shed a few a pounds.

Well,  last year Gabourney secretly had weight loss surgery and she is talking about it in her memoir, This Is Just My Face: Try Not to Stare.

People Magazine had an exclusive first excerpt from the upcoming book. Check it out:

gabourney sidibe weight loss

“I just didn’t want to worry,” Sidibe, 33, tells PEOPLE of her decision to get laproscopic bariatric surgery after she and her older brother Ahmed, 34, were diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. “I truly didn’t want to worry about all the effects that go along with diabetes. I genuinely [would] worry all the time about losing my toes.”

The star — who rose to fame playing the titular role in Precious in 2009 — tried for more than a decade to lose weight naturally before opting for the procedure. And in May of 2016, she secretly went under the knife.

“My surgeon said they’d cut my stomach in half. This would limit my hunger and capacity to eat. My brain chemistry would change and I’d want to eat healthier. I’ll take it! My lifelong relationship with food had to change,” she writes in her wise, witty and unapologetic memoir, out in May.

“The surgery wasn’t the easy way out,” she says. “I wasn’t cheating by getting it done. I wouldn’t have been able to lose as much as I’ve lost without it.”

Since the procedure, Sidibe has changed her eating habits — working with a nutritionist — and upped her fitness regimen, working out with a trainer, swimming and riding a tricycle around the Empire set.

We are very proud of you Gabby! Honestly, you were beautiful either way. From one big weight loss winner to another I salute you!

“Around The Way Girl” Taraji P. Henson (@TherealTaraji) Opens Up About Domestic Violence in New Memoir

When it comes to domestic violence, no one is immune or completely safe from it. Thus, it is no surprise that a number of celebrities have fallen victim to it. Still, no one knew or expected Empire’s Taraji P. Henson to be in that number. In an excerpt  from her memoir, Around The Way Girl, she opens up and reveals her abuse at the hands of her son’s father.

“The next thing I knew, Mark’s balled-up fist was coming straight for my face. I fell onto the bed crying and holding my mouth; blood seeped off my lips and across my teeth,” Henson writes in the book out Sunday. “Droplets splashed across my shoes … slowly creeping into the fibers of my suede boots.”

After she saw the blood pouring from her mouth, the Golden Globe winner says that she yelled at him: “This is over! Get your s–t and get out!”

In 2003, Johnson was murdered at age 34.

Henson, 46, says her late father, Boris, urged her to reconcile with her troubled ex — but she chose to protect herself and her young son.

“With that separation, my forever man, my first love, was no more,” she writes.

The last time she saw Johnson was at Christmas when he came to visit her and Marcell, who was 9 at the time.

Father and son played Tic-Tac-Toe — and when the boy lost, Johnson “put his hand on his shoulder and schooled him,” she writes.

He told him, “use your head, black man,” Henson says of the now endearing moment.

Three weeks later, Johnson’s mother called her with the news that William had been stabbed to death after he got into an altercation with a couple at an apartment in Washington D.C.

Kudos to you Taraji for moving on and getting away! You are one tough “Cookie.” We cannot wait for Around The Way Girl to come out, so expect a review. Pre-order your copy by clicking here.

A Few Valuable Lessons You Can Take From Angie Martinez’s (@angiemartinez) ‘My Voice’

Angie Martinez, also known as ‘The Voice of New York’, gives us a behind the scenes of her life in her memoir ‘My Voice’. Her book includes her journey in making a name for herself in radio, eventually becoming one of the greatest in her industry, as well as bringing back memories of some of the biggest moments in Hip Hop! From her career, to Hip Hop, to relationships, to trials and tribulations, to her controversial interview with Tupac and more, there is SO much content to gain something from. You will truly build a new-found respect for Angie after reading ‘My Voice’.

I have shared just a few lessons you can take from ‘My Voice’. However, I still recommend reading it for yourself, because like these lessons, there are many more you can take from the read.

1. ‘A mistake or a setback doesn’t have to define you.’

This is a quote from Angie in ‘My Voice’, that was a lesson that she took from the late great Tupac Shakur. Amidst the ‘east coast vs west coast’ beef that rappers Tupac and Biggie had going on, Angie accepted an invitation from Tupac to fly to Los Angeles for an interview. Thats right, Tupac, the artist, requested Angie Martinez to come do an exclusive interview with him.

Now for all of the interview’s details, you’ll have to read the memoir. However, I will share with you one important Q & A from it. Angie says that she asked Tupac if he regretted a certain move in his career, and he responded to her that he wasn’t afraid of making mistakes.

“He told me that, yeah he was gonna f*** up, but that was not ever going to be enough to erase everything else, all the years of work,”

says Angie in My Voice. In other words, we will all make mistakes! What matters is learning from that mistake as oppose to letting it break you.
